I am an information technology professional and spend a
major part of my day at the office sitting at the desk staring at the computer
screen. I simply do not go through any physical movement. Also there is lack of
time at hand to go for regular exercise. I also have a habit of munching at
regular intervals. All this was causing havoc to my health. I was putting on
weight and nothing absolutely was helping me to shed those extra calories.
When nothing solved my problem I went for a dietitian. Being
a nutrition expert who promote healthy living which will be gained through
proper eating habit he immediately gave me a diet plan and asked me follow it
as strictly as possible. He also told me it is always better to give a diet
plan that will suit the lifestyle of the individual on diet.
Since I was a constant snacker and ate whatever I got my
hands on he asked me to keep a stock of fat free food items like fruits,
yoghurts and low calorie healthy food.
There are individuals who cannot make complete changes in
their eating habits or pattern. For them making small food substitution are a
must like eating grilled food than fried ones. These sort of eaters has a good
success rate.
People who love sweets should avoid stocking up at home
instead they should settle for something low on calorie.
There are individuals who eat constantly while they are
working for long hours especially at night. They are too distracted to
comprehend how much food they have consumed. These sorts of individuals should
be on a diet that will accommodate frequent small healthy meals.
